Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join its collaborative team in San Francisco, CA. This individual will serve a key function in performing the overall management of proposals, project sheets, presentations and qualification packages. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop external relationships to enhance business development and marketing best practices and drive the firm’s growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops proposal schedules to ensure submission deadlines are met;
  • Manages the process for RFQs, RFPs, standard federal forms, presentations and detailed letters of interest;
  • Strives to produce high quality and competitive responses to all internal and external client requests;
  • Strategizes with technical leaders regarding the pursuit of various proposal opportunities;
  • Develops and grows external relationships that can help strengthen and achieve the firm’s business goals and objectives; maintains client relationships with architects and solicits these firms to get on project teams;
  • Prepares statements of qualifications for client meetings;
  • Attends internal and external corporate events and industry-specific meetings as appropriate; and
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field. Graduate degree preferred;
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, events and/or media communication;
  • Effective in the identification and selection process for outside resource relationships;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong analytical and project management background;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.

Certain US jurisdictions require Langan to include an estimate of salary or hourly ranges. The estimated range for this role is: $110,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Eligibility and actual paid time off may vary based on local law and factors such as hours worked, related work experience and level.
