Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Software Developer to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in providing the design, development, and implementation of software projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic and innovative company initiatives through technological solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Desgin, develop, test, and maintain scalabloe full-stack applications using .NET, C#, and React;
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML integrations, geospatial platforms, and new Azure services, and build focused proofs-of-concept to assess fit before committing to full implementation;
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations that connect internal applications and third-party platforms, ensuring reliability, clear documentation, and sustainable design;
  • Partner with the Senior Technology Innovation Manager and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-scoped technical solutions, recommending approaches that balance capability, cost, and maintainability;
  • Work on multiple project timelines simultaneously; and
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Internship experience in software development;
  • Strong command of C# and the modern .NET ecosystem;
  • Experience in full-stack development and mobile application development is a plus;
  • Ability to write and work with RESTful APIs and data formats including JSON and XML;
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Angular or React;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.

Certain US jurisdictions require Langan to include an estimate of salary or hourly ranges. The estimated range for this role is: $79,000 - $88,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Eligibility and actual paid time off may vary based on local law and factors such as hours worked, related work experience and level.
