Job Summary

Langan is seeking a GRC Analyst to join its collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Langan's Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) program, including planning and implementing policies, procedures, standards, and controls to govern the protection and privacy of corporate information systems, networks, and data. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support strategic and innovative company initiatives through technological solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Langan's GRC program;
  • Perform security and compliance assessments on new and existing systems, processes, technology. Perform periodic gap assessments to validate compliance on an ongoing basis;
  • Evaluate existing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
  • Work with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective. Collaborate with management, network and security teams to define IT security standards and develop supporting organizational policies;
  • Support vendor due-diligence process and help to lead and define overall third-party risk management efforts;
  • Coordinate with management, network and security teams and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Participate in incident response and investigations related to potential compliance breaches;
  • Monitor and report on compliance pertaining to current policies, standards, and regulations. Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses or risks;
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and violations; and
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in object-oriented programming with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, and LinQ;
  • Experience with designing advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to improve operating efficiencies;
  • Ability to develop and support software integrations between complex enterprise software systems, utilizing JavaScript, XML, jQuery, AJAX, and .NET frameworks;
  • Experience in full-stack development and mobile application development is a plus;
  • Ability to write and work with RESTful APIs and data formats including JSON and XML;
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Angular or React;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in SAP cloud development (Fiori, UI5, BTP) is a plus;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
