Langan is seeking an ESG Specialist to join its collaborative ESG Practice. This individual will serve a key function providing carbon management services and consult with clients in all sectors and geographies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic, national practice, performing high-level consulting for energy, legal, industrial,  manufacturing, and financial sector clients.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing carbon management tools; 
  • Assisting clients in defining and locating their carbon management data; 
  • Calculating and reporting Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions for clients; 
  • Identifying and developing carbon reduction projects; and
  • Performs other duties as requested.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with STEM concentration preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance consulting;
  • Experience with carbon management;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
  • MS SQL experience a plus;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively interface with clients;
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and
  • High initiative, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
